Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin is an American politician of the Republican Party, Governor of Alaska since 2006.

Built as a candidate for U.S. vice president in tandem with the Republican candidate for president John McCain.

Born in Sendpoynd, Idaho, the son of Charles and Sarah Haight. Her pedigree contains German, Irish and English blood. Even when very small family moved to Alaska.

Enrolled in "Wasilla High School" in the city Uasila, Alaska. Sport actively, becoming leader of the "Fellowship of Christian Athletes", and later captain of the basketball team. It's basketball champion for Alaska's students in 1982. In 1984, Sarah won a beauty contest and became "Miss Wasilla", as later become the second contest of "Miss Alaska".

Recorded in the "Hawaii Pacific College", in 1982, where he studied Business Administration, but remained only for one semester. In 1983 transferred to "North Idaho College", where he continued to study the same subject. Graduated in journalism at the University of Idaho.

He worked as a sports reporter in television in Anchorage, even helping her husband Todd Palin, who is engaged in commercial fishing.
